First of all, this place isn't a real hotel. Don't book here expecting it to be an airport hotel... because it's not, nor does it claim to be. TripAdvisor lists it as a hotel, but Air Rooms itself markets itself specifically as being great for day use or an overnight stay for an early flight. I find the reviews complaining of missing hotel amenities like breakfast or a wake up call as having misguided expectations.
Based on their marketing as day rooms, I expected something along the lines of the day rooms at Narita airport in Tokyo, or at worst, Minute Suites in the US. I was pleasantly surprised to find a decently sized, very clean room that was even larger than actual hotel rooms I've stayed in Paris, London, or Rome. Complimentary beverages were also a nice unexpected add on.
Overall, I found Air Rooms perfect for what it claims to be, a convenient place at the airport to rest for a few hours between flights or before an early morning flight the next day. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the ridiculous pricing. For me, I was offered 65 EUROS for the minimum of 3 hours, or 85 EUROS for the 5 hours I had requested, which even seems low compared to what others on here have reportedly paid. Yes it's conveniently located, but at the prices they're charging, no wonder people expect a full-service hotel.
