Our stay at the Paradise Beach Hotel was extremely bad. Absolutely the worst Service. The Paradise Beach Hotel is not a hotel but a resort. We spoke with reception before we boarded the Ferry in Ceiva at 3pm and they confirmed there would be car service to pick us up at the Port to bring us to the Hotel. The hotel never arranged for a pick up and couldn't explain why. After calling the hotel several times to locate the car, it finally arrived two hours late as the Port Personnel advised us that we had to leave the port area and wait on the street. Paying anything to stay at this "hotel" is paying too much. The room (oceanic view) is small, the view from the balcony is a wall, the shower is tiny, and there is no wifi connection in the room, lastly there was construction being done in the room above starting at 8am. Breakfast food was sub par, i.e. cheese - they put out American cheese slices (the kind you usually find individually wrapped in a grocery store). The worst part however was trying to locate a table to set down your plate and paper cups of juice and coffee that wasn't filthy. Almost every table had a tablecloth with stains remaining from the previous morning or weeks guests. The beaches were filthy and crowded. We tried to make the best of it, but it was hard not to be constantly disappointed. This is the first negative review we have ever posted. as we are in the Service Industry. We believe that every establishment should be given a chance, and if you are going to post a bad review, you should first speak to the management as they may be unaware and they may need the input to correct and deficiencies. We would have appreciated this same type of consideration before being blasted online. In this particular case the manager was arrogant and completely uncaring. He is just shrugged his shoulders as to say: what do you want from me. The reviews that are posted regarding this place are fake. Please read them carefully!

Dear Stephen, It's always a shame when guests are not satisfied with our service, as we strive to accommodate your needs. Sometimes we try too hard and fail, such as offering you a Transfer to the Hotel without you giving us the 24 hours notice that we require and have stated on Booking.com. With regards to your view, you are correct that you stayed at our Oceanic Building, which is our newest building with 32 rooms and a roof top swimming pool, with an amazing view, yet when you look at the descriptions in Booking.com none offer Ocean View or even Beach View. The name of the building unfortunately is not the reflection of the view that we offer. Reviewing other reviews in and around your dates, aside from people complementing our great service and excellent breakfast, there is little mention of what you refer as bad food and dirty establishment. We aim to please all our guests and we know that Paradise Beach and West Bay Beach are great destinations to enjoy and explore. We hope you will return to our gorgeous island and enjoy the beauty that West Bay and Roatan has to offer.

Stayed at another hotel, but stop in for a day at the beach. Got some lounge chairs while some of my family did activities on the beach. Treated us well. No charge for the chairs and cheap local beers. Service was good, didn't bother us to much but we're sure we were Ok. Security kept annoying beach vendors away and when we wanted to do an activity they would take us to the spot to pay, then come get us when it was our time.Music was loud, but welcome to West Bay. I would go back to that spot.

We came over NY's eve and so were not too surprised to find the place mobbed and attention to things like telling us where restaurants are set aside. However, after the holiday it was much the same. The hotel rents beach chairs to the cruise ship day use hordes; gas fumes from parasail boats and water taxis choke you; and constant loud thumping music from beach bars drives us back to the room and away from what we came for. We've been here 5 days and I have only gone swimming twice. Kudos are due to the cleaning staff, bar service, breakfast service and wonderful concierge but the overall experience was NOT at all relaxing. The water taxis zip back and forth close to shore making off shore snorkeling impossible. The people are all very nice and the beach would be lovely without the crowds and stinky boats. Also, tv and internet didn't work in the room - no big deal for us compared to the crush at the beach. I will not be back to this hotel but I will come to Roatan again and stay somewhere besides West Bay or West End (also pickled in gas fumes). However, if you are there make sure to visit Lala restaurant - it is amazing!

The Paradise Hotel is truly paradise! The food, the beach, the rooms, and THE SERVICE! I don't remember receiving such good service ever! Everybody is smiling and doing everything they can to insure your experience is above expectations. The waiters at breakfast (Anna, Kenny and Imay), the cooks, the bar people, the frontdesk people are all focused on making you feel special... And it worked! Thanks for such an amazing experience.

Well .. We spent here 4 days. We booked rooms for 5 people (deluxe rooms!) and got tiny room although we paid extra money. After we complained they moved us to different building but now the wifi didn't work ?!?! The hotel restaurant is very expensive , strongly advice you to go to maya buffet 25$ per person and kids are free with great sea food unlimited..
The pool is nice and clean and they have good staff. The hotel beach is very noisy so if you are looking for some quite place don't book this hotel
Bottom line .. For the money we paid I would expect much better facility and much higher value
