Paradise beach is well located on the beach and the beach is beautiful , especially when not crowded with cruise ship passengers. The rooms are clean, not overly well decorated but comfortable. Air conditioner works well. Hot water is a little hit and miss. The front desk people are friendly and helpful. I found their restaurant overpriced compared to equivalent on the beach. They claim to offer free transportation to/from the airport but when we arrived after going through custom, no one was there. When we got ahold of the resort they said they were there but didn't see us so they left! It took a little arguing to have transportation. On the way back, they offer transportation BUT, only in early morning and after that at noon. Which means you can either sit at the airport for hours waiting for your flight or pay for a taxi (25$). I think they should offer the shuttle at the busiest time of the day... Their pools are nice We found the roof top one to be quiet. We had breakfast included and it was adequate, Buffet style with many choices.Enjoyed a fresh omelet evey day. The coffee was not good, it needs improvement. The resort is clean and overall well maintained

Dear France1215,

We thank you for sharing your experience with us, we do our best to offer the best service we can, is our principal objective,We take into account the opinions of our guests to improve and provide the best service we will take in your advise for the room decorations but like you know art is relative we try to be as neutral as possible, our free shuttle has a settled schedule designed for the airport busiest hours. we are sorry you were left at the airport. We set up a schedule because this was easier for our guests to understand how the complementary shuttle works. if someone wants to take a taxi as soon as they come out of customs we do offer a private transportation which has a cost of $25 to $30.

we look forward to your next visit.
best regards,
Paradise Beach Hotels.

The staff at the Paradise Hotel is amazing. If you visit this hotel look for Jayson/Rafael/Freddie at the front desk and Dennis and Alberto at the beach restaurant and bar. They are wonderful! The only problem with this resort is the days the cruise ships come in. This is awful with too many people let into the resort that are here to get drunk and party, not relax. If I was Paradise Hotel I would limit the amount of cruise traffic as it really does prohibit having a peaceful good time while staying at the resort. Other than that all is good and it truly is Paradise.

Dear Derek W,

We will let our staff know how you felt about them. Excellent Customer Service is our goal all the time and we try to get better every single day. Reading these type of reviews make us realize our effort is showing.

Roatan Island is growing so fast with tourism, hence the cruiseships every other day. We are growing and we are learning how to organize everything so all our visitors have a great time in this beautiful island!
Thank you for your review Derek W, we hope to see you soon.

Regards,

After my daughter's wedding ceremony at French Harbor and reception on the beach at Coral Views Village, Big Bight, we relocated to Paradise Beach Hotel at West Bay. It was a great decision!

We stayed in Villa #1, which is on the beach and steps from the beach side grill and bar. Other than breakfast, we never needed to leave our porch- the wait staff took our food and drink orders right from the porch and added enough tables and chairs to accommodate a party of 17.

The bar food was good and reasonably priced, though when the cruise ships are in you should expect to wait. We particularly enjoyed the shashimi. The breakfast buffet was very good, with just about any breakfast food you might want, including omelettes made to order. You may want to eat dinner at the bar; the dinner buffet is $25 per person and nothing to write home about.

The service was impeccable. Any issues we're immediately addressed. When it looked like our unit was not going to be cleaned by mid-afternoon, we made a call and two cleaning ladies showed up, cleaned the unit, dropped off new beach towels, and did the dishes. Kudos in particular to Alberto and Ewdwardo, our favorite servers.

As an American family with new Honduran in-laws, we'll make Paradise Beach our rendezvous place!

I came with my mom and my grandma por a small family vacation. The people are so friendly, the staff is amazing, the rooms are beautiful, the food is delicious and the beach is so turquoise! 100% recommended! Christophe Amaro, Jayson Lopez and Rafael Rodriguez are the best here, they will help you with anything you need!

I simply can't believed that when I requested ice to my room they brought me from the bar a bag with a charge of $4.09 dollars and all I wanted was to have a few drinks with my friends before we head it to the bar in the hotel I have never.seen any like this in any resort.
The next day I ask again and call reception to send me ice to the room and they responded by saying that only 2 small cup of ice or to buy the bag of ice again is so insane this type of service after paying $200 dollars a night never again I will stay in this nasty hotel beside the problem with the ice the water at the shower smell terrible.

Dear Ramon a,

We thank you for your comment, in the hotel we have the ice sale service to the public, sure it was a confusion and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We hope you can give us the opportunity to stay with us again and meet your expectations.

best regards,

Paradise Beach Hotels.
