We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house itself is very well furnished and the bedrooms are really very nice, the master bedroom with French doors out to the garden was particularly nice. It was also very well equipped with pretty much everything you could need.
The house is near the road so you do get a bit of traffic noise but it's not intrusive. It's any easy walk to the nearest beach, shops and restaurants. St.James parish is a great place to be based with a number of very nice beaches nearby. If you do have a car, go to Crane beach which is stunning and a contrast to the still waters of the west coast.
Last but not least, thanks to Sharon and Juliette who were incredibly helpful and accommodating, we hope to be back again next year!
Beija Flor is a fantastic house. We stayed for two weeks with two teenage children. The house has everything and more that you can ever need for a holiday. Sharon has furnished the house to an amazing standard, this has to be one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. It is an easy walk to the bus, town and beach, although the road is dark, it has street lights and we always used to take a torch for the walk home. We never found it a problem. Juliet the property manager was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. She organised a cook (Kim) to come to the house and cook a couple of times, Kim was brilliant and such a good cook, a real treat, we couldnt fault her. Holetown itself was great, everyting you could want from a holiday. You must try the reggae bus, $2 to go anywhere. We had the best holiday and really didnt want to come home. Thank you, Sharon and to Juliet for helping make it so special.

Sharon's villa is fantastic, it has everything you could need on holiday, Angela (Maid) is wonderful and helps look after the villa. We spent three weeks in the villa, our last family holiday before our son goes to university. The beach is close and we made good use of the water sports at the Colony Club, various trips to Bridgetown to watch cricket and if you are luck to go in August the crop over festival was an amazing experience. Every Friday we were off to a fish fry, you need to ensure you have 4 bottles of Banks Beer for 10$. The island has so much to offer and the location of the villa is fantastic, being able to access all the facilities of Holetown. We had a car for the three weeks, which helped us to see all the sights of the island. If you need food we would suggest a trip to Cost U Less as we found they had the best deals on the Island. As I said Barbados is wonderful and Sharon's villa is AMAZING

This is the third year we have been lucky enough to stay at Beija Flor, and it did not disappoint. We had friends with us visiting Barbados for the first time and they were wowed by the villa and the island itself, we are all hoping to return again soon.
Sharon has such a well equipped villa it is easy and pleasurable to BBQ by the pool, make sure you visit the fish markets either at Mullins or Speightstown for the freshest fish imaginable and buy local salad produce in Speightstown too, so much cheaper than the supermarkets.
The garden at Beija Flor is delightful, lying in the pool watching the humming birds, seeing monkeys usually early in the mornings, or watching the egret visiting the pool, I wish I was there now!
Beija Flor is a ten minute walk to Heron Bay, a beautiful quiet beach, often we were they only people there. It is also an easy walk into Holetown, so while we choose to hire a car for the duration of our stay it is not essential.
The Tides restaurant in Holetown is superb, my husband celebrated a big birthday there complete with decorated table and cake courtesy of the restaurant, also highly recommended is Cariba a bit further down the coast. As ever, Zacchios beach bar and restaurant are a must for lunchtime drinks and snacks.
We would not hesitate to recommend Beija Flor and have done so on many occasions. It is the best villa we have stayed in, ideally suited for a family or six friends with three large bedroom suites, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely efficient maid for whom nothing is too much trouble. The same must be said for the property manager, Juliet, who is always at the end of the phone should you need her.
We will be returning, sooner rather than later I hope....
