“Great Tea rooms”
Review of Oranges & Lemons

This is what was the Kings Head Pub, our only Pub in walking distance, and although I have to say I was sad to see the Pub go (given its age and history) this new café and shop is a beautiful place, and the sheer footfall compared to the Pub on a day to day basis, speaks volumes.
The shop is a mecca for anyone into arts and crafts, with a vast stock of material and other craft stock, along with an array of interesting and quirky gifts.
The Tea rooms/café has already been extended from its original size (within its first year of trading) due to overwhelming demand, the outside seating is lovely in the warm weather.
The prices are very reasonable and the food and drink is simple, traditional and well done, exactly what people want.

Had an enjoyable meal here, with family today. Food reasonably priced and service excellent. Staff very friendly, and the food very tasty!

It’s nice to see The Kings Head busy and not boarded up like many others. Oranges and Lemons is an Excellent use of a lovely building. Good surroundings a varied mix of refreshments and another source of haberdashery and home decor. A welcome stop whilst enjoying the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

Great venue, location and food. I’ve had breakfasts, lunch and afternoon tea and all have been spot on. Lovely items for sale too as well as haberdashery items. Lovely fabrics.

Well worth a visit followed by a walk down to Flatford to remove excess cake calories!!!

We used to visit this venue when it was a pub restaurant. However, this cafe and shop is a much better use, so cosy and welcoming. Guess it will be great in the summer as well with lovely surrounding garden. We visited on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised that it was bustling with people. The menu is fairly standard, offering quiches, baked potatoes, home made cakes and the like. We had very generous portions of quiche, salad and baby potatoes and took home some of brownie and carrot cake. You could make a nice day out visiting Flatford and then this shop and cafe. Just a thought!
