My husband my mother niece and i spent two nights at Old Mill Cottage. We all loved it! It was warm cosy with lovely rooms and decor. The only downside was we didn't want to leave! Blair Atholl is also a great base for visiting Perthshire. The only difficulty we had was finding the place!

“Well worth a visit!”

Cottage was very clean and had everything we required. Took our dog with us and the flooring meant it was easy to keep cottage clean. Close to village amenities. Atholl Arms next door had excellent menu and welcomed dogs in the bar. Plenty of good walks nearby and a good centre for exploring Perthshire. Would certainly consider renting this cottage again in the future.

“Delightful cottage”

This cottage is perfectly situated in the centre of the village, in the square and next to the park with a little children's play area. It is right beside the railway line and although we thought this would be a drawback, it turned out not to be so. Thee is a high hedge and fencing at the garden edge so the railway is not seen and there are no trains through the night. We got used to the trains in any case but we were out much of the time so train noise never bothered us. The house has two bedroom upstairs, a decent living/dining room and a good kitchen and bathroom, all downstairs. An upstairs bathroom or toilet would have been useful but not a huge concern. The garden is a reasonable size too with outdoor seating and table and is very private. There is space for two cars in the house grounds and as the house is at the end of a short drive-in area, no-one ever came down as far as the house so it felt private enough. It is also well sited within two minutes, over the railway line, of the Water Mill bakery and coffee shop, an absolute delight for breakfasts, light lunches and coffee and delicious goodies, baked fresh daily. Within five minutes, you can stroll to two river areas and watch the water tumbling down under bridges. We have been to Old Mill cottage for three years in a row and just love it for relaxation, enjoying the many walks in the area and taking in the magnificent scenery in the area.

“Top class holiday cottage”
Reviewed October 1, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We have just returned from a short break at Old Mill Cottage in Blair Atholl, totally refreshed and energised. A beautifully modernised cottage with lots of space in a stunning little village. Great location for exploring. We visited Pitlochry and bagged Schiehallion while there. Would highly recommend to family and friends. The village of Blair Atholl is fairly flat and suitable for individuals with mobility needs.

“Fab cottage”
Reviewed September 22, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

The cottage is quiet & secluded yet in the centre of the village - the only noise you'll hear are the trains going by.
It's an old building but very modern & cozy inside with everything you could need provided.
Would definitely stay again
