Late breakfast, a lazy afternoon or dinner ... have enjoyed them all here. Such a delight. Seasonal menu full of favourites and a few surprises. Fish soup or French onion? Both tasty and heartwarming. Charcuterie is a good size. Cassoulet amazing. Nice cakes and desserts. French and local wines to choose from, reasonable at about $10 a glass. Good idea to reserve a table on weekend. Outdoor tables to enjoy when not too chilly. Next on menu is to try some of their frozen takeaway dinners!

If you want a beautiful French meal but can't afford the flights and accommodation to France then head to Brunswick for a treat that won't break the bank. This is the third time at this quaint cafe and it never disappoints. The food is delicious. There is limited choice but everything is magnificent. A great choice of wine, beautiful baked bread. The Charcuterie Plate, tarts, terrines, duck, desserts and cakes- everything is good. The service is fantastic. I'll be returning and thoroughly recommend the French Milk Bar to one and all.

Some nice classics, traditional style. The cassoulet is just the ticket.
Reasonable prices, but not cheap.
I send the fish soup back. It was bitter and tasted of uncleaned fish heads.

We enjoyed our meal, from a small menu, but each taste was superb. Melt in your mouth corn beef for me. As a non duck eater it was disappointing there were 2duck dishes. A pity it is not open every day
