We did the canopy tour and the hanging bridges. The canopy tour was with a group of about 20 and 5 or 6 guides, the hanging bridges were done on our own. Selvatura provides lockers so that you can store your stuff for the day (a big plus, and something we were wondering about). The tour boasts some incredibly long runs and you really are up above the canopy in Santa Elena, a truly unique perspective. The guides were very knowledgable and made sure that everyone felt safe and understood how to use the equipment.
The hanging bridge tour was great, much quieter than I anticipated. This allowed for one of the most magical moments of our whole trip to Costa Rica to happen, and that was a sighting of a group of howler monkeys with babies, jumping from tree to tree. It was truly spectacular to see that kind of wildlife in their natural habitat.
