Apparently designed to represent a rustic Greek tavern, this is quite a large space, with tables packed quite tightly together, polished concrete flooring, and ropes masking the industrial utility of what lurks in the ceiling. The open kitchen occupies most of the back wall. We settled for 3 "special" dishes, moussaka, spanakopita and an haloumi cheese covered in peppered figs. Servings are not huge, but that was plenty for the two of us. Service was efficient and friendly. The bill, with water and a coffee came in under $60. Great value in this part of the world!

We live locally in Brighton and decided to give this restaurant a try. First impressions were good, lovely fit out and ambience. Apart from that the experience was disappointing. They have crammed far too many tables in, so much so that the conversations from the adjoining tables were intrusive. The food was ok but nothing special. We would probably not rush back.

Our fourth lunch in three months. Each one captured the mood, the flavours and the freshness of good ingredients well prepared.
This time the tarama was creamy on hot cinnamon touched pitas. The zucchini fritters were piping hot and scrumptious and the moussaka unconventional but yummy.

We chose the $55 per person option....Total bill of $374
For 6x people we received the following..
3x small saucers of tinned olives
3x small saucers of Pita cut into Tri-angles
2x small saucers of Tachina
2x small saucers of deep fried eggplant (6x tiny slices)
2x small saucers of pastry with cheese inside (VILE)
we had a member in the party who is very allergic to shell fish...we advised them and they brought a saucer of Prawns !!!
"Oh !" they said and brought a soup plate of Baked Tuna.. for 4x people for the main meal... and a small saucer of chicken for two adults as their main meal..When I asked the manager who happened to be texting on his phone for 45min he grunted and said that is the set menu and went on with his texting...Finally after much waiting and complaining the desert was served while they were cleaning the kitchen...wow a half a quarter slice of Watermelon with some sour cream and a teaspoon of Granola ...The worst waste of MONEY and TIME

The experience was WOW from beginning to end. The service was great but the food was out of this world. We will have to come back to Melbourne just to dine out in this restaurant.
