The website is quite confusing (and should be made clearer by separating the 2 properties). When booking make very sure you book the rooms at the 'Pride" building,
NOT the "Classic" : these rooms are outdated,not up to modern standards, bathroom is of another era. We were lucky to be able to shift to the new (Pride) building after having had a look at the "classic" rooms. "Pride" is good, brand new and everything works.

Our itinerary Hampi-Badami-Bijapur-Chitradurga. We visited Hampi during Christmas. I had booked Priyadarshini Classic hotel - 5 rooms well in advance, that is during mid October through Booking.com, as our visit to Hampi was during holiday season. I had also spoke to Mr.Shivkumar thrice over the phone if advance payment is required for my booking, which he had denied.

Two days before our stay, i got a message from Booking.com that the booking has been cancelled as there were no availability. I spoke to Mr.Shivkumar over the phone, to check why the booking has been cancelled, he simply said no availability, without giving any reason further. I further inquired for the reason, his reply was still no availability and was RUDE and unprofessional and said he would call me by EOD with status on availability and hung up the call on me. I didn't receive the call by EOD, I tried following up multiple times, he disconnected my call.
I called up Priyadarshini Pride to check if there were any availability, i explained the situation to the guy in the receptiony. He acknowledged that the booking has been taken in excess and now they have not been able provide accommodation now. Post which, I made another Booking at Koppal as i had no hopes from Mr.Shivkumar.

One day prior to our travel, Mr.Shivkumar called back that they can provide only 3 rooms, i declined as i our requirement was for 5 rooms, he later was good enough to provide 5 rooms.

And now, on our arrival, Rooms looked pretty bad, sheets holed and stained, towels stained. Bathroom n Closet looked as if they have not been scrubbed for ages, shower not working. House keeping don't clear the dishes which have been put out post dinner till 8am in the Morning!!!

Restaurant - Food was good, Post 9am the place is chaotic. We had a long wait time (1 hour) for table during Dinner. They again took long to serve dinner, also not enough staff were present in the restaurant for Service.

NO HOSPITALITY AT THIS PLACE

Travelled to Hampi and Surrounding areas in Dec-2017 , Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights / 4 days, the stay was comfortable value for money , the attached restaurant is very good and serves good veg food

We stayed in this hotel 4 days ago with family. First of all I would thank Mr. Anil for providing us last minute room reservations in Priyadarshini Classic. We stayed in non a/c rooms but due to little bit cold wether, stay was great. Initially, we struggled to get service as toilets were not clean, towels, soap was not provided. Later they responded our needs. Hotel has got restaurants. We enjoyed South Indian break fast, dinner at "Naivedyam" restaurant. Food quality was fine. Room was having LED TV with many channels except sports which hotel can consider to add. There were quite few monkeys on the tree in the premises of hotel so be sure of them before keeping balcony door and windows open.
One more advantage, we booked one day Hampi sightseeing of KSTDC bus which passes from this hotel so pick up and drop became easy for us.

Surely recommend hotel for stay.

Not as fancy as the photos show. Linens have holes. Towels have stains. But nothing big.
The biggest pb is the bathroom. Needs scrubbing hard as it looks pretty bad. And hot shower only available from 6:30am to 9:30am. Ridiculous, if you come back all dusty from a day out visiting Hampi.
No wifi.
Plus points:
location 10min walk from train station. Very convenient for early trains.
Excellent vegetarian Indian Restaurant ground floor open from 6am till 22:00ish.
