Description: Traveling from Toronto to Kingston my family and I stopped here for lunch following positive reviews on web. We received a warm, friendly welcome. Enjoyed great fish and chips, chicken wings and burgers. The place was decorated with all sorts of interesting memorabilia from Ireland. Unfortunately we were unable to stay for a music session which I believe are amazing. The cost was very good value and I would highly recommend it to other visitors.

My first visit was absolutely amazing. I walked in and was greeted by the owner and he was very warm and welcoming. I also had a bite to eat and the food was very tasty ( I recommend the shepherds pie). As an Irish man i felt I was at home and the bar literally could not be more Irish if it tried. I cannot wait to get back on friday night for a sesh.

Had lunch at the Snug today, for the first time. Loved the atmosphere, the staff and the food! I had corned beef and cabbage, one of my favourite comfort foods and it sure delivered! My husband had liver and onions, which he quite enjoyed. One friend had fish and chips, not a speck left on his plate! Other friends had the special Irish plate with egg, excellent lamb chops, potatoes with kale and onion (cannot remember name) toast and a couple of other items. She raved about it continually!
Service was good, not rushed or hurried. We were 4 friends enjoying a leisurely lunch with lots of yakking!
We were quite pleased with all aspects of our meal, and were impressed with quality of food for price charged.
Oh yes..... the Harp was nice and cold, just the way it should be!
Will definitely return.

George & I really enjoyed ourselves on the September 2018 trip to Ireland. We found that it was very well organized. Many side trips included in price. The food, drink & entertainment were enjoyed immensely. Didn’t feel rushed at all. The many stories that John, Ann & Michael our Butlers bus driver told us we’re very interesting. We felt we were well attended to. A great group of people also made the trip enjoyable. The only downfall was we wished we could have stayed longer. But this gave us a taste of Ireland. Which we will return one day. We would highly recommend going with John & Mark on their trips.

Very authentic Irish pub. Great atmosphere, just like being in Ireland. Food is very good, have tried fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage and Guiness stew and all have been very good. My wife has had the burger which was also excellent. Small room up front with a larger room in rear, but would suggest reservations. Very busy every day of the week. No exclusive parking, but lots of spots on King St. as well as a parking lot just around the corner.

hi firstovr , and thanks for the great review delighted you enjoy the place and the food, nothing too fancy but good honest food for sure.the corned beef n cabbage are a favourite of mine too , very close to the corned beef we ate back home ,the space is small and t.g. we are always quite busy , but some how we get everyone in , rarely do we turn someone away. again thanks for taking the time to review ....john
