Astorga, Spain
The unique and intricate work of the Palacio Episcopal de Astorga by modernist architect Antoni Gaudi is a must see in Astorga. Along the Pilgrim’s Road, the town has preserved churches, convents and many other structures important to the history of this region in Spain. Make sure to also visit the Gardens of La Sinagoga and the Chocolate Museum. The town centre is a great place to try regional fare—indulge in the local stew.
