The Clava Cairns are a ten minute car journey from Daviot Lodge and a litle closer to Culloden, but the visit will take you back some 4,000 years to this ancient cemetery. There's more information on the Historic Scotland page describing the site..
If you're interested in this kind of archaeological site, you might also consider visiting the Corrimony Cairn, west of Drumnadrochit, a village on the shores of Loch Ness. Again, Historic Scotland has a useful page.
