Many visitors to Seville arrive by air at Seville's San Pablo Airport (SVQ), located 10km east of the city.  Although the airport is small it is well linked to the rest of Spain and to Europe by Iberia, Vueling, Spanair, Air Europa, Air Nostrum, Air Berlin, Brussels Airlines, TAP Portugal, EasyJet, and Ryanair.  For a map of the airport and other useful information,  see AENA (Spain's airports) web:

Transport to the city is by bus, taxi or rental car; the journey to the edge of the old city usually takes about 20 mins.

Tussam's EA bus stops outside the Arrivals main door--along on the left; it runs about every half hour; the fare is 4.00€,  ( 6.00€ return on same day) . The main stops are Santa Justa railway station, Avenida Carlos V which is near the Prado de San Sebastion bus station and good for the University Rectorado (old tobacco building), the Alcazares, and Barrio Santa Cruz.  Then (after January 2013) continues around to Plaza de Armas - Calle Torneo - which is on the west side of the old city centre.

The return bus starts from Calle Torneo in front of the Plaza de Armas bus station and continues to Avenida Carlos V which is situated on the opposite side of this wide main road from the tram stop known as Prado de San Sebastian and the bus terminal of same name.

A leaflet in PDF format can be opened here and it shows the route and gives more information with times:

The TRAM line (only one in Seville) is a good way of travelling from Prado de San Sebastian into the centre of the old city - it runs between San Bernardo interchange and Plaza Nueva. A map of the route and stations is here ;

Taxis between the airport and the city have a fixed price: €22.20  during hours 07:00-21:00 Mon-Fri (non-holidays), otherwise €24.75  and €30.93 during Feria & Holy Week from 21.00 to 07.00.    Very few hotels offer shuttle services to or from the airport.

AENA lists the available car hire companies, they  include: HERTZ, AVIS/Budget, ENTERPRISE / ATESA,  EUROPCAR and SIXT. Firefly also have a location close to arrivals.
