Inside Ogunquit: Getting Around. If you are not convinced after reading that, or if you are feeling just plain obstinate, read on.
There are several taxi services in and around Ogunquit to move you. Some offer limousine services as well, and most hotels contract taxis to provide your ease of travel. Of course, if you wish to travel outside of Ogunquit to visit nearby attractions, then a taxi is a reasonable choice if you are not renting a car It is also less costly than renting, especially if you plan to spend most of your time at the beach or rambling around Ogunquit's shops and other attractions.
Renting a car while in Ogunquit gives you the opportunity to practice your road-rage skills or to triumph over them, as summer heat, traffic congestion, and abundant crowds good bedfellows do not make. Still, as many as 12 major car rental agencies are available to accomodate you, including Avis, Budget, and Enterprise.
