There are multiple options for getting to Hyannis, which include by plane, bus, car, or ferry.

The most convenient way to travel by plane is to fly directly into the Hyannis Airport , but this is not an option from most domestic, and zero foreign locations.  Cape Air flies non-stop from Providence, Boston, New Bedford, Newark, and New York to Hyannis, but certain routes are not traveled year round.

Another option for traveling by plane is to fly into the Provincetown Airport , and then commute to Hyannis either by car or bus.

The least expensive way to fly is to land at Boston’s Logan International Airport , and then commute to Hyannis, which is a one and a half hour drive away.  Plymouth & Brockton Street Railway Company offers daily routes from Boston to Hyannis.  There are many rental car agencies located around Boston.

If electing to drive, the route obviously depends on direction of travel.  Make sure to plan a route by looking at a Massachusetts road map.  For more information about commuting from Boston or New York, check out Driving to Hyannis.
