The Trois Pignons is a very nice museum in Cheticamp. It is really two different museums in one. The first is the standard sort of thing about the history and culture, with plenty of artifacts, of the region. The second part is devoted to the art of hooked rugs. Am not too keen on artsy crafty stuff in general, but these "rugs", they are really more works of art than something one would actually walk on, are very interesting. A thorough history of the craft and its origins is also described. The museum is just north of the town center.
