Travel Portland operates an informative website for visitors to the area, where you can find a robust business directory, interactive map and up-to-date information and recommendations on tax-free shopping, dining, sightseeing and other things to do in Portland. On TravelPortland.com, you can also book hotels in the Portland area and receive complimentary parking, continental breakfast and a coupon book as part of the "Portland Perks" program.
The Travel Portland Visitor Information Center can be visited in person Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and seasonally (May-October) on Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friendly volunteers staff the desk, offering free maps and brochures, directions and suggestions for experiencing Portland’s many attractions, from food carts to festivals. They also can assist with hotel, tour and travel arrangements.
