About the neighbourhood
Bettyhill is a remote village on the north coast of Scotland, about 45 minutes west of the town of Thurso. Despite it's remoteness, it's central location on the north coast means that it is a vital hub for the local communities and contains many facilities that you would not normally expect for such a remote area. The local swimming pool is an excellent facility that also has a fitness suite, sauna, jacuzzi and gym classes. There is a hotel, post office, cafe and stunning beaches on all sides that will provide plenty of opportunities to be as active or as inactive as you desire!
Getting around
There are lots of walking routes available and cycling is a popular way of getting around locally.
