Our Home away from Home

My friends and I escape to Cracklewood yearly. We love it!! It is close to everything but secluded so we can “girl talk” till the wee hours without fear of disturbing anyone. The house is rustic - which adds to its adorable charm and what we desire at the Hunter. There are two fantastic verandah where we spend hours, relaxing, drinking and watching amazing sunsets. The beds are soooo comfortable with beautiful, crisp linen. And we delight in snuggling in with the electric blankets when it is cold. You will not find a more obliging host than Joann. Joann is delightful to deal with and always available if you need her for anything. We love the Hunter Valley and we absolutely love Cracklewood. Yes The Hunter Valley and Cracklewood are the perfect pairing - just like Cheese and Wine. Enjoy!
