There is a small enclosed back garden(ideal for your dog) and an area of decking for you to relax in private.Nearby there is boating, swimming and fishing on the Loch; golf and horse riding on the other side of the river in the village; walking all around and many other activities if you think you are relaxing too much! There is boat and bicycle hire nearby. There is a village shop and post office, an historic old hotel with its restaurant and bar, a deli /gift shop, restaurant and bar and another restaurant in the village, so there is always somewhere to go if you don't want to self cater; these are open all year round. The nearest town is Aberfeldy which is blessed with all the shops and facilities that you would expect from a thriving town. The nearest city is Perth which is approximately 40 miles away. And of course you are in the middle of Scotland that has so much to offer. There is broadband in the house with Wifi.More

Thanks for the nice review; I'm afraid that many of our roads in the UK are like that, we get used to them.

About the neighbourhood
The conservation village of Kenmore is small but has year round facilities for wining and dining and two small food shops for the self caterer. Loch Tay is literally a stones throw away with its fishing, boating and swimming. The neighbouring hills have many forest walks with historic sites, waterfalls and fine views to discover on the way. Sail on the Loch, go fishing, play golf and go horse riding all within a short walk in the village. If you are serious about your fishing the famous River Tay leaves the Loch in the village. Go to Aberfeldy and visit the Dewars distillery, or just a bit further to Pitlochry and enjoy a world class theatre.
Getting around
Your own transport is almost essential for a stay in Kenmore as there is very limited public transport although there is a handy explorer bus that covers some of the Loch Tay area in the busy season.
