'Beach View' is a stunning contemporary holiday rental apartment which has undergone a complete refurbishment. It is part of the Gwel Marten complex which occupies a highly sought after cliff top position on the site of the old Gwel Marten Hotel on Headland Road.

The apartment has a commanding front line position with a very rare private outside terrace for alfresco dining and providing uninterrupted sea and beach views and also has a private covered parking space and free Wifi internet access.

With close proximity to Carbis Bay train station, it is also just a very short train ride into the centre of St Ives, a journey which takes around 3 minutes and follows a dramatic path along the coast.

Interaction with guests
Approximately 2 weeks before arrival guests will receive all their detailed arrival information which will include arrangements for collecting the keys to the apartment. As we operate a key safe system this enables flexibility with arrival times if these are later in the day. Guests will also be provided with a contact number for our housekeeper for use during their holiday and in addition a member of the family will always be on hand within the resort to provide assistance when necessary.

We have just returned from a most enjoyable week spent at Beach View overlooking Carbis Bay. Brilliant location with stunning views. Beach View was a very clean and spacious apartment with everything you could need for a home from home. It is situated five minutes from the beach and two minutes from the railway station. Travel is very cheap to both St Ives and Penzance. The walk to St Ives via the coastal path enjoyable and not too difficult. Would certainly consider returning to Beach View in the future.

The Kitchen also comes equipped with a filter coffee machine, fresh orange juice maker, full dinner set, wine glasses, mugs, tea towels, first aid kit, Iron and Iron board, full assortment of pans, cutlery and general cooking utensils. The master bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe and chest of draws with colour TV. The second bedroom has twin beds with bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, chest of draws and colour TV. There is an additional single fold away bed so providing a flexible option to the sleeping arrangements and the potential also to sleep a 5th person. Linking the rear bedrooms to the front of the apartment is a spectacular hallway which is 40' in length.

By Road - From the Midlands and Bristol take the M5 to Exeter and exit at junction 31 onto the A30 into Cornwall. Near Penzance take the A3074 along to Carbis Bay and St Ives. From London and the South East there are two routes possible from the M25, one which takes the M4 to Bristol and then onto the M5 and the second follows the M3 onto the A303.

By Rail - Carbis Bay and St Ives are both accessible by train and the St Ives branch line from St Erth is one of the most scenic in the UK. The London Paddington train to Penzance will stop at St Erth.

By Air - Newquay Cornwall Airport is served by a number of operators and you can fly in from London, Manchester, Belfast and Glasgow and then pick up a hire car.
