The house is very private with a terrace that is not overlooked. It is situated in the foothills of the sacred mountain Canigou in French Catalan country, perfectly placed between the mountains and the mediterranean sea. Rigarda is a pretty, peaceful, quiet commune, 30 minutes walk from Vinça where there is a freshwater swimming lake, train station and buses serving the region. Perpignan Airport is 30 minutes drive. The region is steeped in history with Villefranche de Conflent 20 minutes drive and Céret and Colioure no more than an hours drive.
