We had a lovely week in the cottage which is very handy for some of the best bits of Hadrian’s Wall and the Northumbria dark sky national park. Corbridge itself has some Roman remains, some quirky shops and some nice pubs. The cottage facilities were...More

We had a lovely 5 night stay. This is a very cosy, comfortable place to stay - much more homely than many rental places. As you’d expect with a historic building, some of the upstairs floors are uneven, there are creaking floorboards etc but it...More

How to get there
The house is very easy to get to in a variety of different ways. It is 25km from Newcastle international airport, so takes no more than 30 minutes by car or taxi from there (we would thoroughly recommend hiring a car). It is also about 30km from Newcastle centre and train station, and takes about 40 minutes by car or taxi. There is also a direct train from Newcastle central station to Corbridge. These go every hour or so. There is also a bus that goes from Newcastle central to Corbridge and goes every hour or so.
