Oswald Cottage is a beautiful double-fronted, Grade II-listed, 18th century cottage, located on a quiet street in the heart of Corbridge, one of the most picturesque villages in Northumberland.

The cottage, which features on the “Discovery Walk around Corbridge,” is unusually large, yet has a homely feel and has an attractive open fireplace. Although furnished with antique furniture, it has all the mod cons including Wi-Fi, Sky TV, and a modern kitchen with walk in pantry, washing machine and dishwasher. It also has a secluded west facing patio garden,

The house has two large double bedrooms with high ceilings and two good sized single bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 6 people. There are two bathrooms: one with a shower, one with a bath, both with toilet.

There is a lady who looks after the house who will greet you on arrival and hand over the keys. She lives very close to the house and is always on hand to answer any questions or pop round if needs be.

The house is very easy to get to in a variety of different ways.

It is 25km from Newcastle international airport, so takes no more than 30 minutes by car or taxi from there (we would thoroughly recommend hiring a car).

It is also about 30km from Newcastle centre and train station, and takes about 40 minutes by car or taxi. There is also a direct train from Newcastle central station to Corbridge. These go every hour or so.

There is also a bus that goes from Newcastle central to Corbridge and goes every hour or so.
