About the neighbourhood
The house is well located for easy access to the Motril/Granada motorway, and to be able gets easy access to the motorways heading in the direction of Madrid, and Murcia/Costa Blanca. The wonderful city of Granada is a c.25 min drive. The beautiful Alpujarras and the traditional spa town of Lanjaron can be reached in 20 minutes, with Orgiva a further 10 mins away. Beaches can be reached within 20-25 minutes.

The village of Pinos del Valle has 2 supermarkets which will supply your basic needs (including meat and fresh veg), a baker, a bank and pharmacy - all within 3-4 minutes' walk from the house. A larger Mercadona supermarket is 10 mins away (Durcal/Niguelas junction) with a great fish counter and Carrefour Hypermarket and El Corte Ingles department store can be found in Granada c...

How to get there
Airport: Granada: 35.0 km
Car hire is essential. Granada airport (BA from London City Airport) is 35 minutes away. Malaga is an easy 1.5 hour drive, and Almeria a little further away at 2 hours. We have found BA offering excellent fly/drive packages this year with deposit only payable until 10 weeks from departure.

Parking is usually available outside the house, but note the streets are narrow so keep this is mind when choosing a hire car.
