Situated inland and just 19 kms from Howick, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa, on 78 hectares of land, Old Pine Cabin is suited for those wishing to escape the everyday stresses of life. We offer the perfect get away for bird lovers, cyclists and nature lovers in a secure and safe environment.

The wooden cabin has an open plan lounge/kitchen, two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds and a sleeper couch in the lounge if needed. The bathroom has both a shower and bath. A wrap around verandah allows for afternoon sundowners and meals outside in a perfectly tranquil setting.

The cabin is fully equipped, including a fireplace, and a braai pit, just bring provisions, for which, Howick is the last stop. There is no tv as this is country living. Under cover parking on site.

The log cabin is set on a 78 hectare farm, with the greater part being protected indigenous bush. For peace and tranquility it is unbeatable. Perfect terrain for cyclists and a wrap around deck for sundowners and bird watching. Near to the Karkloof Polo fields, Karkloof Conservation Centre (bird watching) and Karkloof Canopy Tours. The cabin is a fully equipped self catering unit, with fridge, stove, kettle, microwave etc. Complete with bath and shower and braai facilities. Bath towels provided.
