La Belle Maison is a lovely ancient stone built town house situated in Estaing one of the prestigious Beaux Villages of France. The Chateau in the centre of the village is owned by the ex President of France, Gisgard Valerie deEstaing. He is of course a well respected member of the village and is often seen having a coffee or wandering the streets and conversing with the tourists.

The property is setup to give you everything you could need for a comfortable holiday in a 'home away from home'.

Our guests are of the utmost importance to us and we have found that the greatest percentage of our business is from repeat customers or their referrals. We are committed to meeting your needs, therefore our property offers all the amenities and comforts of home.

An excellent place to stay with everything you need in place. The rooms are spacious, bright and comfortable. The house also had a small courtyard at the back where it was pleasant to eat.The house is only a short walk from the centre of Estaing and the river Lot, where there are a handful of restaurants.

We have stayed in many gites all over France and this one is among the best. Before our arrival the host was in contact with us with lots of important tips and background information. She made us fel very welcome even though we never met. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the house...

The ground floor comprises of an entrance hall, garage and wine cellar.

The first floor features a large living area with comfortable sofas, TV, antique marble fireplace and a modern dining suite. French doors open onto a balcony overlooking the entire village.

The kitchen on this floor is completely modernized with all facilities, dish washer, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, oven, combination oven/microwave and features extensive crockery, baking kitchen equipment and utensils.

From the kitchen a door leads to a small secluded rear terrace with outdoor dining setting and sun lounges.

Our town house is in the medieval village of Estaing, in South West France. Situated on the prettiest part of the Upper Lot River, the Gorge du Lot, between the village of Espalion and Entraygues, Estaing is, and has been, a stop over point visited by hundreds and hundreds of pilgrims (wearing the scallop shell insignia) en route to Santiago de Compostella in northern Spain for over a 1000 years.

A superb chateau with historical and political connections, a gothic church and superb medieval architecture rightly makes Estaing part of the “beautiful villages of France” a select group …”L’un des Plus Beaux Villages De France” and our area boasts more of these villages than any other department.
