Beautiful Swaledale 'Land Of Rest'

The Kirkstone is a quality holiday home, constructed by Cosolt to the highest standard, placed new on our own private site in 2002 it has had minimal usage hence its superb condition. Intended for all year occupation, its a home from home in all seasons, a twitchers paradise, surrounded by all types of wildlife and farm animals.

Close to the ever popular tourist destination of Reeth and the historic town of Richmond, 10 minutes from a mountain bike centre and walks aplenty from you own doorstep. This is also the perfect starting point from which to tour the dales, with a fabulously scenic circular route through Swaledale and Wensleydale via the Buttertubs pass, relax and enjoy.

Lovely clean cosy caravan fitted out with everything you need. Ideal for walkers and people who love the countryside and peace quiet, this was my second visit and i will be returning thank you once again .

About the neighbourhood
The picturesque and historic village of Reeth is situated between Swaledale and Arkengarthdale. The village is within close proximity of Leyburn, Richmond and Middleham making it an ideal place for touring the northern regions of the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire.

In May and June Reeth hosts the Swaledale Festival, a two week event with local musicians and guided walks to entertain visitors. At the end of August there is the Reeth Show which is an agricultural event , bringing local farmers and producers to the village. Surrounded by the truly glorious countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the starting point of several best known walks this is a fantastic destination for those wishing to enjoy a walking holiday.
Getting around
Walking around Reeth to view all the wonderful attractions is highly recommended .
If you feel a little more adventurous, the Dales bike center is just a ten minute walk from the accommodation, there you can hire bikes and be advised of routes to suit all abilities.
