I found myself Googling for a cottage in a quiet location not too far from where I live that would offer me opportunity to stroll country lanes and walk in the hills and to sit and watch the world go by, and Ashcroft Cottage came up on TripAdvisor. I had never been to Reeth before and booked hoping I wouldn't...

Management response:

Thank you for your lovely review. It makes all the effort worthwhile when visitors have a good holiday. We really enjoyed meeting you and are so appreciative of the fantastic condition you left the cottage in, we could hardly tell anyone had stayed. Everywhere was gleaming A 5 star visitor and we look forward to your next visit Ray

The views from the back door were over the Swale and up the moors. The local walks were those of dreams.

Management response:

Many thanks for your kind words. Much appreciated

Spotless accommodation for two couples. The views are amazing. The surrounds have to be seen to be appreciated. Reeth itself is unspoilt. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The people are friendly and the place seems to be a magnet for walkers.
