There is a front garden and a raised back garden with lovely views of the Shehy mountains and Bantry bay. Wifi is available at the house for e mail, facebook, whatsapp and streaming. There are plenty of activities close by including walking, pony trekking, swimming, seaweed baths, fishing, boat trips to see the local seals and plenty of good restaurants, friendly bars and coffee shops in the area. The views and walks around the area are beautiful as it is the wild Atlantic way.
Beautifully presented and very spacious holiday home near Bantry Bay! Sheila was very accommodating, providing info on everything to see and do in Bantry as well as other must-see towns. The location was great - very peaceful but a short drive from everything you need. I would definitely recommend this holiday home to a family of young children as there is a generous garden for them to safely play in. Our kids had an absolute ball staying here and looked forward to getting back to the house after a long day of sightseeing.

House with an amazing view located 15 min drive from Bantry and Glengarriff. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a fantastic family holidays with lots of board games options. Sheila sent lots of information about places to visit, restaurants and shops. We will definitely go back.

Family holiday
Great time had on our family holiday in Cooryleary, Ballylickey. Weather was fantastic for our stay. House was perfect and kitted out for everything needed. Host couldn't have been more helpful.

Ideal location for touring West Cork
Cosy and clean house with everything you need for self catering. Near shops for groceries or Bantry for eating out. Peaceful scenic location. A great spot!

Cosy cottage
Spotless and cosy cottage with everything you need in a great, semi- rural location. Sheila was extremely helpful from afar, available if/when we needed with very speedy replies. House is very well equipped, warm and really comfy beds. We travelled all around and nowhere was more than 1hr 50 mins (Kinsale and Killarney) from the house. Bantry is 10 min drive. Excellent Centra in Ballylickey 2 mins drive with great deli and delicious fresh wheaten loaves! We picked blackberries on the lane up to the house and could hear the sheep when we sat outside. All in all a lovely stay, thank you!

The house is on Commonage so it is not unusual to see a few people, livestock or horses walking up the lane. It is a quiet and peaceful location. The nearest supermarket and petrol station is Cronins - 2km from the house and Lidl and Supervalue are 5 and 8 km away. A great location for sightseeing or making the most of the numerous activities closeby including walking/hiking trails, boat trips, pony trekking. There are so many lovely restaurants and the food is so good that it is hard to single out any where in particular. On a Friday there is a market at Bantry Bay.
