For curious guests the grounds of the residence provide many fascinating finds including ancient underground cellars, a roman shell mosaic style Fontana and mature lush gardens to relax and unwind in. Resident parking also features and the property is just a 5 minutes’ walk down a slope to the centre of Mezzegra which offers a wide variety of amenities including supermarkets, cafes, bars, bakery, a small working marina with boat moorings and a newly renovated children’s play park. From the village by car guests can easily reach the next town of Lenno which is said to be one the oldest settlements on Lake Como and which today offers a wide choice of amenities as well as a charming lakefront cafe-lined promenade, passenger ferry, public Lido beach and nightclub and featuring one of the lakes most famous attractions, Villa del Balbianello! Guests can also enjoy the close proximity of Mezzegra from Tremezzo a bustling resort town which offers cafes, restaurants, bars, a beautiful landscaped lakefront garden and a passenger ferry service to Como. A bus service runs a frequent western town route to the north of the Lake and to the south where Como city with its train line connections is situated. A Bergamo airport bus transfer also operates from Menaggio.
