Villa Rosa is situated on the south east coast at Binibeca Nou, overlooking Cala Torret. Less than a 20 minute drive from the airport and Mahon, the capital city. A few steps down leads to the sunken sitting room where a music system to play either, radio, or, CDs, a TV receiving UK channels and catch up, together with USB port for films and a DVD player are all provided. You can connect your iPod or mp3 player to the music system or, TV with the appropriate Lightning Adapter. If you need to be in touch via your laptop or, mobile there is WIFI at the villa. On the first floor there are two further twin bedrooms, both with air conditioning and a full bathroom with over bath shower. You can access the roof terraces and laundry room from this level. To the side of the villa is a terrace with a traditional Menorcan chimney barbeque Both the undercover bar with its own fridge and the exterior dining terrace overlook the pool. After dark lighting illuminates the pool terrace and the pool has underwater lighting for safety when night bathing. With interior corner steps, the pool measures approximately 8 x 3 metres. The pool and roof terraces all look south to the Mediterranean overlooking Cala Torret, and are equipped with a more than ample supply of sun beds. The villa is very close to the sea, the beach, the supermarket, bakery, bars, and restaurants yet it is so quiet, you often wonder where everyone has gone!
Please note that all bed linen and towels are included. You just need to bring or hire Beach Towels.
Due to the villa's location car hire is unnecessary however, it is recommended to allow you to see more of the island.

By all means feel free to pet the local cats at your own risk, but please, under no circumstances invite them into the villa. They are in the main feral and cannot be trusted not to spray (scent mark their territory).
Wonderful holiday and great responses from the owner
We have stayed in 6 different villas in Menorca and this was the best! Last year’s was good but couldn’t manage matching plates and cutlery which I thought was ‘spoiling the ship for a ha’p’uth of tar’. Your kitchen equipment was superb. Furniture lovely, outside furniture very solid and sturdy, pool fab, beds very comfortable, air con worked! No complaints about anything.
Restaurants and shops within walking distance were a bonus…although we have favourites from other holidays in other resorts which we loved and returned to. Our 12 year-old could even nip to the supermarket on her own.
We loved the cove and swam there several times…glorious.
All in all, we loved it…and thank you for being so available when we had queries before and during our stay.

Lovely first family holiday!
We had a lovely stay at Villa Rosa for our first family holiday! The area is quiet and peaceful and the villa has everything you could need! We cooked most evenings, very handy having a supermarket and bakery nearby! We loved having our own pool to use daily and it was a perfect way to cool off after lounging in the sun! We would return without hesitation!!

Excellent family holiday
We were lucky enough to enjoy a two week stay at Villa Rosa.
Everything was excellent especially the location away from the busy tourist trap.
As a family of four, the villa had everything we needed especially the pool which was very much welcomed during our stay (we did leave lots of inflatables for someone else to enjoy).
A small supermarket within walking distance stocked everything we needed and the few restaurants, also within a short walk, were wonderful.
We did have a car and ventured out most days to explore but was always pleasing to come back to Villa Rosa.
Communication was excellent throughout, thank you Christine for opening up your home to us.

We are so glad you found your holiday, the villa, and location all lived up to your expectations. It’s important to be able to experience a family holiday with little or, no disappointments.
Regarding the inflatables, they are still in use and have been enabling the guests who followed you, to play in the pool from day 1!
Maybe one day you’ll all look at your 2023 pictures and rekindle those happy memories.

DELIGHTFUL VILLA IN A FANTASTIC LOCATION
We stayed at Villa Rosa in August with our two teenage sons. Superbly located with easy to access the restaurants of Cala Torret via the steps from the pool area and wooded walkway. The pool is lovely and not overlooked, the outside bar with fridge is really useful and the lilo selection a lovely touch. The villa had everything we could need and we used the BBQ on several evenings. Christine, our host, was super friendly and helpful from start to finish. Highly recommend this villa and we will definitely be back.

Relax and unwind….
A perfect villa in a wonderful location. Peaceful and relaxing but only a short walk to excellent amenities and the sandy beach of Binibeca. Plenty to explore in the beautiful Binibeca Vell, less than a mile away and some really good restaurants. Would particularly recommend Bambu - but book in advance!
Not our first time in the Villa and we will definitely be returning. Thank you Christine!

Excellent Location
Villa Rosa was perfect for our first visit to Menorca - plenty big enough for our family of 4 adults. Quite quirky, with it being build into the hillside. We spent most of the day by the pool, which was a good size and the ideal temperature.
The location was superb - in a quiet street, yet less than a minute's walk to the nearest bar/restaurant (Sa Cova) where we stopped most evenings for a cocktail en-route for dinner in Cala Torret. A few minutes further on there is a local supermarket, bakery/cafe, and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Our favourite was Cala Mar.
Communication with the villa owner was brilliant, from first enquiry to the end of our stay. We will definitely come back to Menorca, and would recommend Villa Rosa without hesitation.

Super villa with excellent location
The villa was really well-equipped with everything we needed for a perfect villa holiday. The pool was a lovely size, great for cooling off, playing games and sunbathing around. Each room was a good size and had comfy beds, the air-conditioning was essential to help us keep cool overnight. We cooked in and had BBQs a couple of nights and the kitchen had everything we needed plus more.
The best thing about the villa though is the location. Everything was within walking distance: a supermarket with everything you could need, a superb little bakery with excellent fresh bread and some lovely restaurants too. We did book one night but the rest we just turned up to and they squeezed us in. We often walked down to the little cove for a swim or you could walk to Binibeca beach if you wanted a sandy beach. There was a great little boat hire in Cala Torret (we hired a day boat to explore the coastline one day which was lovely) and a dive school near the beach. We didn't hire a car for the first week and certainly didn't need one. However, we did get one for the second week (use the recommended Doncars- they were great and very reasonable) so that we could do a bit of sightseeing and visit the rest of the island.
All in all, a great holiday in a lovely villa which we would highly recommend

Villa Rosa, Binibeca
If you want a relaxing holiday in a fantastic villa this is for you. The villa has three large bedrooms, plenty of sitting areas both inside and outdoors with a number of different terraces to choose from. The pool is very private and very well maintained. We found the villa to be very clean and in a lovely location not far from the sea.
A sandy beach is also nearby with safe swimming and is a good place to go snorkeling.
The restaurants near the villa were very good, with great views over the sea, our favourite being Cala Mar. The small supermarket near the excellent bakery has everything you need. The bakery is great for a breakfast and your lunchtime treats.
We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend the villa and its location.

A highly recommended villa
Lovely secluded villa with plenty of privacy yet close to beach, supermarket and restaurants. It is situated in Cala Torret but within walking distance of Binibeca Vell and Punta Prima. It is also close to a bus stop and tourist train stop. The villa is spotless and well equiped. Air conditioning worked well. We particularly loved the good sized pool and the roof terrace with seaview. Garden has lots of colourful flowers, lemons and even grapes! The owner is really friendly helpful and very efficient. There are a lot of steps in and around the villa, which may not be suitable for everyone.

Thank you for your review which will be most helpful to other travellers and is good for us to hear. We will also pass on your observations to the management and the gardener. The management are so important in keeping things in good order and the gardener, as you can imagine hasn't got the easiest of tasks tending to bushes and shrubs on a slope!
We hope you enjoyed Menorca enough to pay us a visit again sometime in the future.

Relaxing Holiday
Once again we enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this secluded and well-equipped villa. The patio furniture and sun beds have all been renewed. The weather was very hot so we were glad to be able to cool down in the pool. The villa is a short walk from restaurants ; a supermarket and a bakery. It is advisable this year to book if you want to eat out as there is an unusually high number of Spanish and French holidaymakers on the island.

Thank you for your helpful review. We understand it has been very busy with tourists from Europe. They have been taking advantage of the availability that the British tourists have not filled this year! Booking restaurants well in advance has been necessary, unlike previous years where evening bookings during the week were usually not such an issue.

At Cala Torret (a 5 minute stroll away from the villa) there are several restaurants, a bakery (wonderful for breakfast), a supermarket, a bar with SKY TV for the sports enthusiasts and a slipway.
Beautiful Binibeca beach with its safe bathing for all ages and superb beach bar is also just a short walk away. One of Menorca's Diving Centres is located between Cala Torret and the beach. Less than 10 minutes by car in the local working village of Sant Lluis, there are numerous supermarkets, bakeries, banks, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, estate agents, a pharmacy, a Church, Police Station, two windmills, Sports Hall and shops selling a wide variety of personal and household goods.
Getting around
We can arrange car hire through a local reputable company that has the advantage of offering comprehensive insurance and more than one driver in the quoted price.
There is a bus service and the stop is only five minutes stroll away.
