Villa was very nice. Spacious rooms, big space outside, a lot of games for the children, nice pool. Very helpful friendly host. 7seater car came with the package. Recommended

Great Stay
We had a lovely stay at this villa. Benko was super helpful both before and during our stay; he answered multiple questions about the area and gave us useful information and recommendations about where to eat, etc. He also went above and beyond by tracking down a recommendation for a mobile massage therapist to visit the villa during our stay that we had asked about. He also offered a very reasonable airport transfer service and was punctual on every occasion our party used him.
The villa is fantastic with good sized bedrooms, a lovely outside area and an ideal sized pool. There is an outdoor shower and toilet facility that is great for in the day when you are around the pool - this also houses a sauna but the weather was so hot we didn’t use this at all. There is also a good sized indoor lounge area that we used for respite from the heat (there was a heatwave while we were there) and a well stocked kitchen that is more than sufficient for cooking some nice meals although the oven took a bit of getting used to and the dishwasher was a little hit and miss. It is, however, worth noting that one of the bedrooms is separate to the house and accessed via an external stair case with no ensuite toilet facility. This meant having to use the external toilet / shower block which was not ideal if you needed to go in the night!
Outside there is a very good sized outside bbq area which we used several times. There is a lovely terraced seating area near the house and a large covered area which houses a large dining area, pool table, darts board, table football table and seating area and we had a lot of fun using all of these.
The grounds are well lit with external lighting and secured by a large metal access gate so we felt like we had excellent privacy. The pool area also has good shelter and comfortable sun loungers which were easily moved to track the sun.
We did share the villa with a good number of ants which were a bit of a pest particularly when they went to the bedrooms but the villa was provisioned with some good pest control spray and we were able to find some ant powder in one of the local supermarkets that kept them mostly in check. Also worth mentioning that, as with most places in this part of Spain, there is a fair number of mosquitos in the evenings which we needed to control with citronella candles and spray.
Location wise the villa is only 5 minutes drive from a nice beach in La Marina and a short drive from a small town with 2 reasonable supermarkets and a pharmacy, however, it is somewhat isolated so don’t expect to really find much in the vicinity of the villa on foot. The provision of a 7 seater vehicle woth the villa was absolutely superb with this regard as it meant we could all easily nip out for food or to the other nearby towns like Santa Pola.
We enjoyed a superb meal in Santa Pola at the La Vida Bonita Beach Club which had a great tapas and paella menu with some fantastic vegetarian (which we found a chellenge generally) and seafood options. We also enjoyed a nice afternoon out in Elche which is a larger town with a good range of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions and is well worth a visit.
We did try and get a taxi to one of the nearby towns but really struggled to find a company who would come out to us as we were outside of both Elche and Santa Pola so you will need to bear this in mind if you want to go out as a group if you don't want to have a designated driver!. The taxis that did quote us were expensive for relatively short journeys.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely look to book here again.

Esta casa es una pasada. Lo pasamos genial. Muy bonita, grande, limpia y acogedora. Me encanta el exterior, piscina, babacoa, mesa, sofas....la recomiendo 100%!
