It is an ideal base for wine tasting in places such as St. Emilion and visiting historic towns such as Eymet, Monsegur, and Bergerac. There are daily markets in this area all year round. Duras has a fascinating chateau and is well worth a visit. The picturesque village comes alive in the summer, with weekly events such as the wine festival, antiques fairs, night markets and open air music. There's ample space for the children to play and new play equipment will be introduced for 2019.
