Part of a unique building that has historical significance in Edinburgh's past, this apartment is a one off and in a fantastic location close to the action of the city, both old town and new. The entrance hall leads onto a double bedroom and en-suite shower room. The second floor consists of a twin bedroom and another double room that has been furnished with bunk beds which are fun for children or adults with an inner child. All bedrooms overlook the quiet courtyard at the front of the property. On the same floor the family bathroom incorporates a bath, sink and toilet. The third floor consists of an airy open plan kitchen, dining and living space which has seating for up to 6 people. The kitchen is very modern and suitably equipped for self catering; including an electric hob and oven, fridge, washing machine and microwave.

Nicely renovated condo in an interesting building with a nice view. Living room is on the top floor with bedrooms on the first and 2nd. We didn't mind the stairs. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We had a nice family gathering for our daughter's graduation from university. The living room on the top floor gave nice views of the city and was comfortable for our small celebration with family and friends. There were several thoughtful touches like providing tea and coffee that saved us having to shop on our first day! Only one shower.

About the neighbourhood
This is a lovely and comfortable three storey townhouse in an old Brewery dating back to 1822. It is in a great city centre location just off the Royal Mile and has its own secure parking, a great advantage for the centre of Edinburgh. The apartment is accessed through a quiet cobble stone courtyard, there are communal gardens which have great views over the skyline of Edinburgh Calton Hill, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Holyrood Royal Park.
Getting around
The townhouse itself is in Nether Craigwell Brewery which was redeveloped into exclusive and contemporary townhouses back in 1987. With this property you are literally in the heart of Edinburgh. Just a short five minute walk from the property in one direction will take you to Holyrood Palace, the Royal Holyrood Park and Scottish Parliament building at the foot of the Royal Mile. Just ten minutes in the other direction however will take you to the top of Leith Walk and the East end of Princes Street, the main shopping area in Edinburgh.
