Cottage
Delightful detached one bedroom single story cottage, tastefully decorated in rural surroundings.There is one deep step at the front door and then two steps from the sitting room to the kitchen, otherwise a bungalow style cottage. Fully fitted kitchen with oven hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bathroom with shower over bath, wc and wash basin, heated towel rail.
Central heating.Large bedroom with king size bed, two wardrobes and chest of draws. T.V Oak floor.
The sitting area has a stone floor with rug and a flat screen T.V and fireplace with electric fire.

Cosy studio in great location
We stayed for 2 nights in the studio and it was perfect. The studio is quite roomy and very comfortable. Has a great kitchen and bathroom. There is everything you need here. The location is fabulous. Would love to stay again. Mandy made us a lovely cake too which was yummy.

Amazing
Golly Cottages was amazing.
Great location, so lovely to have basic supplies on arrival.
Mandy made us a lemon drizzle cake in our cottage and Welsh cakes in the studio they were scrumptious.
We loved our short stay but wished we could have stayed longer. Extremely comfortable best nights sleep away from home.

Lovely few days at Golly Farm
We stayed in The Studio at Golly Farm for a few days in early September 2019. We really enjoyed our stay. The Studio was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It consists of a single large room containing a two-seater sofa and an armchair, as well as a small dining table with two chairs. There is also a king sized bed in the main room. We found the bed particularly comfortable. A door leads to a well equipped kitchen, from which another door leads to a good sized bathroom with a spacious and powerful shower. The Studio is at the end of a terrace of other, larger holiday cottages. The whole terrace has a paved area in front of it, with tables and chairs, and a field beyond. When we visited the field had a herd of sheep in it which added to the peaceful, rural feel. There is adequate parking immediately behind the cottage. Mandy was very hospitable, and always on hand to assist. All in all our stay at Golly Farm was very enjoyable, and it would be our accommodation of choice for a future visit to North Wales.

The Perfect Escape
Golly Farm – what a delight. It really was a wow ! Mandy’s very friendly welcome made it feel like ‘home from home’.
Holly Cottage was beautifully appointed, well equipped with a tranquil atmosphere and wonderful views; we could not have hoped or asked for more.
The one problem was that we had to leave after our few days escape…!

Another lovely week
This is our third visit to Golly Farm, and pleased to say everything was as good as before.
Mandy made us very welcome, and the cake on arrival was most appreciated.
Our friends who were visiting for the first time were impressed with the standard of accommodation, and enjoyed exploring the area.

Wonderful cottage!
This was our second visit to Golly Farm and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time we visited. We were well looked after by Mandy. Oak cottage was beautifully clean, very homely and comfortable with everything we needed. We also had the lovely treat of a home baked orange drizzle cake which we really enjoyed!! We ventured out to visit Conwy and the North Wales coast as well as visiting beautiful Chester, Llangollen and Chirk Castle. A fantastic base for visiting Wales and the North West!

Peaceful retreat
Golly Cottage: Beautiful spacious cottage, nicely decorated with all the necessities as well as some nice little extras including a lovely lemon cake on arrival and dressing gowns. Comfortable bed and plenty of parking

Relaxing oasis
Great base for touring the sights of North Wales in relaxing and first class accommodation. Met by friendly and helpful host Mandy who got the break off to an excellent start. We will certainly be booking again when in area. Give it a try

Heading north on the A483, come off at the Rossett/Llay junction
Turn left and continue to the second sign to Burton, turn right into Croeshowell Lane
Continue to the end of the Lane and turn left into Rosemary Lane
Continue to the end of the Lane to the T junction and turn left
Very shortly you will see a sign to Golly
Turn right and continue along the lane, round the left hand bend – Golly Farm is the first property on the left
