Total luxury - gorgeous lodge and lovely people
Me and my partner had a trip to the lake district and stayed in this gorgeous little lodge. It was an amazing find as not open long and no reviews to go on. We couldnt have been happier!! The owners were very welcoming and clearly very passionate about their perfect little hideout which was lovely. The lodge is stunning and just perfect for a couple! everything has been carried out to a high standard and the welcome hamper is the icing the cake!! Just what you need after a long drive without having to worry about going to get essentials. Set in a stunning location, the hot tub is beautifully private looking over a captivating view!! We were even blessed with a clear night sky in the hot tub surrounded in stars!! pure heaven!!

Totally perfect, relaxing retreat.
This was a birthday treat and it couldn't have been more perfect. The lodge was beautiful and extremely clean, the welcome pack was full of quality products and the hosts were warm and welcoming. The setting is lovely and very close to the wonderful Coniston Water. We have booked again for February 18, just wish we could get back sooner.

Well presented lodge in beautiful setting
Just returned from a 5 night stay at High Bridge Haven. The lodge is very comfortable, well presented and emaculately clean. The owner is very welcoming and I agree with other reviewers that the welcome pack is great after your drive. The owner supply logs for the wood burner and the lodge also has lots of information about the local area. The hot tub was very well kept and again very clean, the water is changed for each new guest which I personally felt reassured about! Couple of points to note, there is no Wi-Fi (not necessarily a bad thing!....we did have a good mobile signal), and the property's water is fed from a spring, we were advised to drink bottled water. The owner had kindly provided a supply on our arrival but bear in mind if you are taking food etc, pick up some bottled water too. Finally, the lane up to the accommodation is quite steep, our Civic coped fine but would be dubious about taking anything with low ground clearance. We were able to fully relax and would definitely recommend this lodge.

Absolutely perfect!
Still here whilst writing this review! It's perfect! We were welcomed as soon as we arrived by Maxine who showed us around. The hamper was great (thank you) and the hot tub is fantastic! Sub zero outside but still warm in the tub! Log burner is fantastic at night and the logs are supplied too! Bed is comfy and very warm. 3 nights of sheer bliss away from work! We don't want to go home! We'll definitely be back 😎

Birthday treat
We have just returned from this beautiful lodge today.
We were welcomed by the lovely Maxine who showed us round and explained how everything including the hot tub worked. As it was my birthday Maxine had added a few celebratory decorations to the lodge along with a card and bottle of bubbly on ice. Lovely.
The whole lodge is so well designed and cosy. Lots of well thought out touches and a welcome hamper which was very much appreciated.
The hot tub is fabulous even in the wind and rain that we had at times and the bath robes provided were definitely needed.
Would definitely recommend if you are looking for excellent accommodation in a peaceful and picturesque location.

Perfect for our mini moon
We have just returned from a lovely trip to high bridge haven for our mini moon. What a little treasure the owners have there! The scenery is just incredible (especially when your in the hot tub). Inside it is spot less and the owners have thought of everything!! It’s such a shame it was over so quick. This was our first time staying within the Lake District and it didn’t disappoint. We would definitely recommend a drive to the beach and to Tarn Hows. This is the place to go to for an extra special trip!

Second visit and won’t be the last
I can’t rate this place highly enough. I look at other lodges with hot tubs but it will take something very very special to beat this. The views, sunsets and the peace that you get here are incredible. It is so idyllic. Maxine is wonderful and all the little touches she does really makes it a extra special stay. Everything is clean and cosy. We have been twice now and I am already thinking about when we can return!!

Hot tub with a view
Just a fantastic lodge with incredible views and wonderful hosts. A great location for the South Lakes. A perfect stay. Highly recommend.

We loved it!
Amazing week. Owner was very welcoming. We love the place and the hot tub. Beautiful views aswell. Lots of towels and was literally like a home from home stay. We love it so much!
