We stayed at Villa Casa Alta Mare for two weeks, what can I say!? - It was one of our best holidays ever! What a beautiful villa and what a super location in this amazing private property with just a few steps down to a gorgeous beach.
Dionisis, the owner of the villa, and the whole team are very professional, welcoming and helpful, delivering exceptionally high quality service for the guests. They took such good care of us and for a mother of two this was really vacation in all senses, Dionisis was so kind and offered to cook proper tradinional Greek food for us few times which was an absolute bonus , so I didn’t have to worry too much about cooking. We absolutelly loved all the dishes, they were an absolute delight to eat and we thought he was a professional cook, we will never forget that roast chicken and grilled calamari, Yum !!!
The villa itself is newly build to a very high standard , exquisitely decorated, clean, with lots of amazing little touches and lots of light .
Outdoor area is huge and so spacious for children to run around, play and complitely safe.
We absolutely loved an outdoor cabana where we could hide from the hot sun in the middle of the day and just chillax. Kids loved picking up organically grown vegetables from the allotment.
There is also another little studio house next to the villa, so if you take your parents with you, like we did, is a great bonus, we had our space they had theirs .

Fabulous villa
Fabulous villa, with sea view to rear and mountain range to front. Extensive landscaped garden with pool and various seating areas to relax and unwind. Super well stocked and tended kitchen garden which the owner positively encourages you to use. The villa is modern, fully equipped with every convenience and beautifully decorated. It's absolutely spotless with coco-mat linen and towels regularly changed, an absolute luxury. The outdoor professional kitchen is fantastic. There is also a pizza oven which our family thoroughly enjoyed using, making our own dough for that authentic touch! The beach and taverna is within walking distance with many other beaches and restaurants a short car ride away.
Dionisis is a gem of a host. He couldn't do enough for us, cooking a fantastic Greek BBQ one evening.

Amazing place !!!
Me and my family we had the best holidays ever in Casa Altamare !!!
Excellent location, seaside view , relaxing large gardens and pool area. But the most of all is that I had the best sleep in my life because of Casa Altamare ' s very special Sleeping System mattresses , felt like sleeping in clouds . highly recommended and we ll visit again next summer for sure.

Excellent holidays, excellent Villa
We visited the villa at beginning of September with my family and had a such a great time. The Villa is brand new, fully equipped and very elegant decorated. It is locate just 100 meters from the beach which is a huge plus. The private pool and the arround area it very nice and spacious, at least for the four of us. The whole lot of land is huge with trees, flowers an a well look after garden. Make sure you book a car or arrange a transfer to get there as the Villa is located about 25' drive from the airport. The place is very organized and you will get all the help you need from the villa owners. The made our holidays perfect. Definitely recommended!

Villa Casa Alta Mare in Skidi, in the southwestern part of Corfu, is just 5 minutes from Korission Lake and the famous Halikouna Beach. Korission Lake is the most important wetland of Corfu. It has an area of ​​6,000 acres and is a protected area within the Natura network due to the biodiversity of the area. The rich ecosystem of the area includes more than 100 species of birds, among them flamingos and cormorants. A small wooden bridge allows the passage to the opposite bank to the point where the lake is connected to the sea. This image, combined with the impressive dense cedar forest, looks like it came out of a travel guide for the wonders of nature.
Getting around
Access to Skid and the Villa Casa Alta Mare is easy by car, through the village of Agios Mattheos, following the relevant signs. Around the beach, there is a beautiful natural landscape with lush vegetation and paths surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, ideal for walks and cycling. Skidi is located between the beautiful beaches of Prasoudi and Kanouli.
