ATTRACTIONS CLOSE BY for CHILDREN include a zoo, an adventure park with railed luge, zip wire and bungee jumping, St Malo Aquarium, Alligator Bay, a water park and of course the beautiful wide sandy beaches of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. Within short driving distances are many good restaurants both for midday and evening dining, including TWO FINE DINING RESTAURANTS WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF THE COTTAGE. We offer FREE TRANSPORT to and from these restaurants as well as a FREE BABYSITTING SERVICE if required. The cottage consists of a kitchen, toilet and living room downstairs. On the first floor are three double bedrooms (the MAIN BEDROOM has an EN-SUITE shower, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail) and a bathroom (bath with overhead shower, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail). The main and second bedrooms have KING SIZE DOUBLE BEDS, and the third, two singles. All beds have SPRUNG MATTRESSES AND FEATHER AND DOWN DUVETS. There is ample wardrobe and drawer space in all bedrooms. Satellite TV is provided via a “Freesat” box which receives all main UK TV and radio channels (FLAT SCREEN TV). There is also a DVD /CD player, a selection of games, books, DVDs and CDs. The cottage has its own dedicated WIFI router and so has STRONG BROADBAND WIFI SIGNAL IN ALL ROOMS. The WIFI is completely FREE OF CHARGE. There is ample PRIVATE PARKING SPACE for at least 4 cars. INCLUDED IN THE PRICE of your holiday are Towels (including beach towels) and tea towels Hair dryers Washing machine detergent Dishwasher detergent Washing up liquid Toilet tissue Kitchen tissue Dishcloths Bin liners Logs for wood burner (initial supply) High chair, stair-gates and cot and mattress (if required). There is lots of information in the cottage about the many places of interest, as well as a selection of walking maps. A very confortable house to have great holidays with family. John and Nina are more than wonderful hosts, always very kind and helpful. You can feel yourself at home in their gîte.

The cottage is set in two acres of gardens and orchards surrounded by open countryside, fields and woodland, with stunning views over the River Sée valley all the way to Avranches, 26 kms away on the coast. It is an ideal centre for exploring Lower Normandy and North Eastern Brittany and for activities such as golf, horse riding, tennis, swimming, cycling and walking. Sites of particular interest such as Le Mont St Michel, the D-Day landing beaches, as well as towns and villages with historical and architectural interest such as Avranches, Bayeaux, Fougéres, and many, many others, are easily accessible from here. The beautiful sandy beaches of Normandy are less than an hour away. Normandy is also wonderful walking country - maps available.

This is a rural area with very limited public transport. You will definitely need to have your own transport to get around the area.
