The MANOR HOUSE Bed & Breakfast is an historical house in the centre of the small picturesque town of Donaghadee and is 20 miles (40min drive) from the centre of Belfast City.
The house is a Grade 1 listed building, dating back to the early 17th century . It was enlarged in the 18th century by Daniel de Lacherois .
Donaghadee boasts 'The oldest pub in Ireland' , Grace Neil's which offers a truly Irish experience at the bar and in the restaurant . There are three other excellent restaurants and coffee shops : Pier 36, The Bull and Claw and Still Waters Cove .

You will be greeted by Naima who runs the B&B. She will hand you the keys to the bedroom/bedrooms you have booked, explain the basics of the B&B, take your Breakfast order and she will be available throughout the stay. You will not have full access to the House to yourself unless you rent it as Air BnB. This is a B&B where Naima cooks your breakfast and there could be other people staying in the House.

We rented the Manor House via Air B&B. A family of 5, we enjoyed all 4 of the huge bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, 2 livings rooms a massive dining room and use of the spacious and very well appointed kitchen. The manager lives on site and was very welcoming and helpful, allowing us full run of the rest...

Fantastic accommodation in a huge period Manor House. No lack of space. Dine at a twenty foot mahogany breakfast table with attentative service. Close to everything in Donaghadee, particularly Grace Neil's bar and restaurant.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in Donaghadee as well as lovely antique shops on the sea front. There is a great butcher, baker and wonderful old fashioned ice cream shop. The walk along the sea shore is very picturesque looking out to Scotland and the Copeland Islands.
