La Rue is a true home-from-home - as it IS our home for much of the year! Packed full of character and providing much more homely comforts than a standard gite which can sometimes be rather 'bare and clinical'. The owners do not live on site but are just a couple of minutes away if required. Bags of space both inside and out and in a very rural location where only the sound of the birds is deafening :-) A car is essential as even the morning collection of baguettes and croissants requires a very short drive to the nearest village. ...La Rue is a true home-from-home - as it IS our home for much of the year! Great house and Excellent experience.

We spent one week in this wonderful house. Everything was perfectly arranged and cleaned. Ian and Claire are wonderful hosts and a very nice couple that love their house and pay a lot of attention to their guests needs. We felt like at home ....More

It was an absolute pleasure having Philippe and family stay at La Rue who were perfect guests and who left the house absolutely spotless which was greatly appreciated. We would look forward to welcoming them back anytime in the future.
