Isle of Coll, The Hebrides, Scotland
White House Lodge is an award winning high spec self-catering holiday cottage on the Isle of Coll in the Inner Hebrides, on Scotland's West Coast.

*** Winner of Daily Telegraph Homebuilders Award for best Conversion 2013 ***

Built in the 19th Century, this former farm workers cottage had been lived in until the 1950's. On abandonment the cottage soon became derelict and remained in a ruinous state until a major refurbishment began in 2008.

White House Lodge refurbishment was completed in Spring 2012 and has re-emerged as an eco friendly, high spec, four bedroomed house, sleeping eight, suitable for summer holidays and winter retreats.

About the neighbourhood
The Isle of Coll is a rugged and beautiful island that benefits from an abundance of spectacular beaches and varied flora and fauna. Due to the low population of around two hundred residents, there is little pressure on the local environment. As a result visitors benefit from truly being able to escape. Empty beaches, lack of traffic and clean air are just some of the attractions.

Apart from the abundance of white sandy beaches, the island has a host of other attractions. There are spectacular views across to the Treshnish Isles to the South and of the Small Isles and Outer Hebrides to the North. If you get a chance to go out on a boat, seeing basking sharks, minke whales and diving gannets are just some of the treats in store for you.

If you fancy a meal out, try the Coll Hotel for it&#...
