Affordable luxury in the Jungle. Our Bed and Breakfast is located about a 10-minute leisurely bike ride from the main town of Puerto Viejo. There are many restaurants and bars located along the strip from Manzanillo to Puerto Viejo for you to enjoy and explore. Our beach is a short 4-minute walk and the street is lit a night. You can walk to the town of Puerto Viejo along the beach if you prefer. Staying in the jungle can be a noisy experience. Expect the howler monkeys to wake you up at dawn with their loud roars that are noted as the second loudest animal in the world next to the lion. Throughout the day you will hear the start and stop of the cicadas which sound like a motor starting until they are in full song. The property is accented at night with lighting throughout. The temperature ranges from low of 20 in the evenings to highs of 30 in the day all year round. The accommodations are designed to allow a natural air flow to eliminate the need for artificial cooling from air conditioning. This keeps the temperature consistent and assists in assimilating into the tropic environment. There are tower and overhead fans in each room for the still nights. Main House –has a private guest room that includes 2 private bedrooms perfect for families – sleeps 4 adults and 1 child Bedroom 1 – 1 queen bed Bedroom 2 – 1 double/ twin bunk Shared bathroom divides the rooms Free -Mini bar – semi stocked – included – 2 beer & 2 soft drinks. Restocked daily, Purified water Coffee bar with fresh Costa Rican coffee and assorted teas Robes and pool towels provided Shampoo and body wash provided Hair dryer Safe Price includes a Hot breakfast daily with vegetarian options available upon request. Expect fresh fruit, juice and smoothies to accompany your meal. Rancho – is an open-air building where breakfast is served. The rancho is available for use during the day and early evening. There are no cooking facilities on the property and hot cooking is not permitted. Portable cooking appliances such as Barbeques, hot plates or electric frying pan are not permitted, The area is designed for a quiet environment and groups / individuals are expected to adhere to quiet time of 10;00 pm. Say Yes to La Paz del Caribe

Beautifully decorated room, very comfortable beds and fans were perfect. Lovely view, nicest hosts, close to beach. Fabulous breakfasts. What more could you ask for? Do it now.
