From San Jose, it is a four and half hour trip by road to Geckoes Lodge: And it is a beautiful trip! If you wish to fly by private charter fro San Jose to close to Geckoes, please contact us for prices and availability. To get from San Jose to Geckoes Lodge there are the following options: 1. Car rental from San Jose: Reliable companies are: Mapache or National or Budget or Toyota. 2. Private transfer by car which costs approximately US$200: A good option if there are 4 of you travelling. 3. Interbus: A private mini bus service which will pick you up at your hotel in San Jose or at the airport and bring you to Geckoes Lodge....
