We booked a last-minute stay at this resort when our flights home were cancelled. The host was responsive and we were able to get our booking confirmed quickly. However, once we were at the property there was a problem with the unit we rented (the master bedroom flooded due to a problem with the kitchen sink). We worked extensively with the resort staff regarding this issue, spending hours of our own time helping to sop up water/ making many phone calls, interacting with multiple staff members who came to the unit, etc. When I messaged the host about this difficulty, they stated that there was nothing they could do and stated that working with the resort about this issue was the only recourse. We would have appreciated more help from the host and certainly feel that being charged full price for this particular stay was unfair.
