My modern 2 bed apartment is designed to be stylish, yet inviting and comfortable. Located in charming West Hampstead, the area has a village feel but you’re also within easy reach of Central London. This recently-refurbished property has 2 spacious bedrooms, modern bathroom and kitchen, and bright living space with a private balcony. Great transport links mean you’ll have no problems getting around the city. The apartment building has also got a free parking space available for guest use. Natural light flows through the living area, making it bright and airy. The glass doors open onto a private balcony. There are gorgeous wooden floors and comfortable places to kick back and relax. The open-plan design makes this room feel spacious and light. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a quick meal, or cook up a storm, in the sleek kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use, including a kettle, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher. There are two large bedrooms, each with King-size beds and mirrored wardrobes. Both beds are made to hotel standard with fresh luxury linen - what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? There is plenty of storage space too, so you can get unpacking right away. Make yourself at home! Freshen up in the modern bathroom - why not enjoy a soak in the large tub or wake up in the mornings with the shower combo. White fluffy towels and toiletries are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests will have access to the entire property, including the private balcony and parking space. Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! Neighborhood If you like exploring a city by foot, it is under 20 minutes to walk to the famous Abbey Road! The area of West Hampstead is a unique part of London with a lovely village feel. There is so much to do and explore. The Wet Fish Cafe is a local gem; a cafe/brasserie with a self-described passion for food, wine, coffee, music, and art. The food is great, the cocktails are delicious, and the atmosphere is inviting. For a traditional English pub experience, head to The Railway - its claim to fame is that the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix once played gigs there! They have a terrific selection of cask ales to get stuck into, and they do a great Sunday roast (if you want the full British experience). The Gallery is a favourite for cocktails and evening drinks. They are famous for their extensive whiskey list; 101 hand-picked from around the world! Also worth checking out is The Cedar, an award-winning Lebanese restaurant. You won’t be disappointed! If you prefer to cook at home for yourself, why not pay a visit to the West Hampstead Farmers’ Market (Saturdays 10am-2pm)? You’ll find fresh Essex coast fish, free range and organic meat and poultry, seasonal fruit and vegetables and much more. It’s a real treat to wander around here on a lazy Saturday morning and stock up with delicious ingredients. For something a bit more lively, maybe Salt Lounge will be for you! It’s a late-night club with live music, including leading jazz names, comedy, and dance nights with DJs. Very fun for a night out. Transit West Hampstead is very well connected in terms of public transport and from my flat, you can easily go anywhere in London. Tube (metro): West Hampstead Station is around 5min walk. It is on the Jubilee Line which goes through Bond Street (ideal to stop for Oxford Street shops), Westminster (Big Ben, House of Parliament) or London Bridge (Tower Bridge and Tower of London). Overground: West Hampstead Overground station is located opposite the Tube entrance. It’s a vast network that goes through (Richmond in the South and Luton airport in the North). Thameslink: this is the closest station from our flat. It is a train network that runs through central London and its suburbs. This is the most convenient and quicker way to go to King’s Cross St Pancras (takes only 10min) ## Notes - Please note the flat is on the first floor and there is no elevator in the property.
