About the neighbourhood
La Mirande is a haven of tranquility surrounded by fields and farmland. The property has extensive lawns, old stone walls and an orchard. It is perched on the plateau Coiron, above the town of Privas, which is only 15 min. away. The views are incredible of the Rhone Valley and the Alps beyond. At night one can see the stars above and the twinkling lights in the valley below. The neighbouring farm raises goats and produces an award winning goat cheese. The owner welcomes guests and is happy to answer questions. There are many places to hike across the plateau. Ample off road parking spaces.
Getting around
You have options as far as getting around is concerned but you have to understand that there is no public transport in the immediate area. It is however a walker's paradise or perhaps you will be bringing a bicycle. Cycling is very popular and a great way to see the area. Otherwise you will be dependent on your car
