Our family of 4 stayed here for a week and loved it! The 2-storey cottage was very clean, cozy and organized. Dishwasher was a nice bonus! The beds were comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were handy. We also really enjoyed the outdoor shower. Loved the 2 decks with gorgeous views of the lake and sunsets. Our two young children (6 and 7 years old) enjoyed fishing in the canoe with us (caught lots!) and we all loved using the kayaks and paddle boards. Kabakwa Lake is clean but shallow off the dock – so no diving in. The firepit has great seating around it, safe for kids, and is perfect for roasting marshmallows! Lots to see and do in the Haliburton area. We took a day trip to the Wolf Centre - Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve. A must-see! We hope to come back here again! Thanks

This was the perfect cottage for us to stay in. It was well equipped, great location, and the views of the lake are absolutely beautiful. The owner was very easy to communicate with and responded to everything we needed very quickly.

We had an amazing stay. Wished we had taken a longer period. All you can ask for in amenities and the outdoor shower was great.
