Children love our cottages because the setting, the concept and the cottages themselves are so different from their own home. In keeping with our 'turn the clock back' concept we have chosen not to offer televisions but have recently added the option of pay as you go wifi for those who need to stay in touch with the outside world. All our feedback suggests that guests really appreciate this as they find themselves doing different things than they would in their 'normal' lives. Cruit Island is a walkers paradise with a profusion of wild flowers and a hidden sandy cove around every corner. Visitors may wish to play the stunningly scenic Cruit Island golf links, absorb the culture of the local Gaeltacht areas, spend a day at Glenveagh National Park,check out Europe's highest coastal cliffs, or learn about folk history at Glencolmcille folk village.Others may wish to climb Errigal, take a boat trip to Owey orTory Island, or try their skill with the excellent local fishing. Mostly you will be quite happy to simply sit out on the rocks around your cottage and drink in the sheer natural beauty, as you relax and unwind. Please note that our prices refer to on-site non sea view cottages. A sea view cottage is available as an optional extra at 60 euro per week or 30 euro per weekend. Use of our on-site turf for the open fire is available as an optional extra at 20 euro per cottage per week or 10 euro per weekend.More
