About the neighbourhood
Mill Race House is in the outskirts of the delightful and small village of Durrus. The town has real Irish charm to it with a selection of pubs and restaurants and a local shop where you can collect all necessities. We would be delighted to recommend local bars and shops to renters. Durrus is also located in the heart of the countryside and right along the coastline so there are plenty of outdoor activities to be done without getting into a car.
How to get there
Thanks to modern marvels even remote parts of West Cork are to be found on google maps! Just type ‘Mill Race House, Durrus’ and it will take you straight there amazingly. Alternatively below are some directions for your reference - Our advise is if you were to fly into Cork international airport then to drive to Mill Race. The route we would recommend would be to leave cork airport and turn right on the 4th roundabout (3rd exit onto the R600). Continue on this road until you hit a junction and then take the turn on the right up the hill on the R613. Next take the left onto the N71 which you will stay on until Bandon, on entering Brandon at the T junction turn right over the bridge and then 1st left onto the Main Street which then leads onto the R586. Stay on this road until the next junct...
